Updating Spam Shredder
Webroot updates the Spam Shredder program to keep up with changes in spammer strategies. You should update the program at least once a month to ensure that you are using the latest version. For one year from your date of purchase, you can download and install the updated version. After one year, renewal discounts are available.
Note:
If you are upgrading from a previous version of Spam Shredder, do not uninstall the old version first. Installing the new version over the old one retains your settings from the previous version.
Spam Shredder can notify you whenever a new version is available. You can also check for updates anytime. While your subscription is valid, you can download and install the updated version.
You can see what version you have by clicking About at the bottom of the icon panel. The About panel may also include the expiration date for your free updates and support.
