Adding Files to a User-defined Custom Wash Item

Adding a file to a Custom Wash Item deletes the file you select each time you run a wash. You may want to use this feature when a program you use creates a log file that gets very large over time. Be sure that the program will re-create the log file and that deleting it is not a problem.

To add a file to a user-defined Custom Wash Item:

Follow steps 1 through 6 in Creating and Editing Your Own, User-defined Custom Wash Items.
Select the Add Individual Files for Washing option.
Click Next.
In the Step 1 panel, navigate to the folder where the file you want is located.
In the Step 2 panel, select the file you want to wash (delete).
You can select more than one file by holding down the Ctrl key as you click.
Click Add.
The file names display in the Step 3 panel.
To remove a file from the list of files to wash, select the file and click Remove.
To remove all files from the list of files to wash, click Remove All.
Repeat steps 4 through 6 until you have added all of the files you want to wash using this Custom Wash Item.
Click Next to continue.
When the Completion window displays, click Finished.
