Understanding the Window Washer Window
The Window Washer window lets you change your wash settings, create customized settings, and run a wash. Figure 1 shows the Window Washer window and describes its parts.

Use the buttons and links on the Home panel to do the following:
- Select Wash ItemsLets you select the items you want to wash. For more information about selecting wash items, see Setting Up Wash Items.
- Wash My Computer NowLets you review a summary of the items that Window Washer will wash (delete) and start a wash. For more information about washes, see Running Washes.
- Edit Bleach SettingsLets you make your washes more secure by overwriting deleted files one or more times. For more information about the bleach settings, see Adding Bleach.
- Reset StatisticsSets all wash statistics to zero. If you do not want to store wash statistics at all, deselect the Store Wash Statistics option.
- Check NowGoes to the Webroot Web site to see if Window Washer updates are available. For more information, see Updating Window Washer.
- Webroot Home PageGoes to the Webroot Web site home page.
- Webroot Support PageGoes to the Webroot Web site Support page, where you can search for support information or submit a support request.
Figure 2 shows the settings available when you click the Options icon. Some icons display tabs, as shown here, that give you access to additional options.
