Updating Window Washer

You can check for updated versions of Window Washer anytime. For one year from your date of purchase, you can download and install the updated version.

You can see what version you have by clicking Home in the icon panel. The version information may also include the expiration date for your free updates and support.

Note: You must connect to the Internet to update Window Washer.

To update Window Washer:

Start Window Washer, if it is not already open, and display the Window Washer window.
For more information, see Starting Window Washer.
In the icon panel, click Home.
Click Check Now.
Window Washer opens your Internet browser and takes you to the Webroot Web site.
See if the Web site says that an updated version is available.
Follow the instructions on the Web site to download the file that contains the updated version.
Be sure that you know where you download the file to on your computer.
Follow the installation instructions in Installing Window Washer.
If you want Window Washer to automatically notify you of updates, click Options, then click the Program Settings tab, and select the Select Automatically Check for Window Washer and Custom Wash Item Updates from Webroot option.
