Responding to a BHO Shield Warning

If a BHO tries to install on your computer (with the BHO Shield on), Spy Sweeper displays a warning message similar to the one in Figure 9 .

BHOs are add-on programs that work with your browser. Some spyware, adware, or other unwanted programs add BHOs without your knowledge.

Respond to the warning based on your situation:

Yes—Use if you do not recognize the name of the program listed. This option will stop the program from installing.
No—Use if you are in the process of installing a browser extension or toolbar that you want.
