Setting Up Continuous Monitoring (Shields)

You can set up Spy Sweeper to continuously monitor the following types of threat-related activities on your computer:

Internet Explorer changes
Windows system changes
Hosts file changes (for advanced computer users)
Startup programs changes (for advanced computer users)
Browser add-on changes (for advanced computer users)

Spy Sweeper calls these functions Shields. When Spy Sweeper detects activity related to any of the shields, it displays an alert. For more information, see Handling Alerts and Warnings.
