Introduction

Whichever Windows Operating system you are currently running on your PC, Various processes run invisibly in the background. Often they start automatically upon boot up. You probably also have a number of personal settings in use, not all of which may be required at the same time. Whether you can see these processes or not, they can all cause your system to slow down while processing, while junk files, and unwanted trojans and cookies may start to create problems.

SpeedUpMyPC comes equipped with a great set of features to help you solve these problems whilst allowing you to continue using your computer normally. You can quickly perform memory optimization, clean up or permanently delete files, quicken your Startup time, instantly improve CPU usage, and adjust your internet connection settings for improved bandwidth and faster download times.

Interface

Our award winning graphical interface wizard is clean, clear and very user-friendly. It offers four easily accessible sections, making navigation simple and fast. These are Overview, Optimization, Clean Up and Settings.

Overview

This is your at-a-glance status check. The screen displays your computer's current optimization level. You can configure your own settings before moving on to scanning & optimization. The System Overview clearly shows you where there are potential problems that need your attention and recommends what action you should take. The next section is the Optimization.

Optimization

This screen provides you with the various areas where optimization is possible through this software. They are Memory, CPU, Disk, Internet and Startup. Their respective screens also provide you with a graphical representation. You can find more details about each of these in the Optimization Help Guide – See next Section.

Clean Up

This shows when the last scan was performed. It cleans up Temporary Files, Junk Files and Other types of files. All these files can be cleaned at one go or they can be tackled separately. It also protects your privacy through several options like scanning for Cookies, Internet History, downloaded program files, typed URL names in address bar etc. You can delete any unnecessary files and folders permanently. You can also uninstall completely any software that is no longer required.

Settings

SpeedUpMyPC can be minimized to the system tray. It can be started when Windows starts and you are given the option to move files to Recycle bin or to delete them permanently.
