Searching the web
For web searches, Safari has a built-in search field. It's near the upper-right corner of the Safari window, and has a magnifying glass icon. You can also choose which search engine to use for your searches: Google or Yahoo!
To search the web:
-
Type a word or phrase in the space next to the magnifying glass. As you type, a list of suggestions based on what you've typed so far appears.
-
Press Enter, or click one of the suggestions.
To repeat a previous search:
Click the magnifying glass, and then choose from the menu.
To see search results from both search engines:
Search using one of them, and then click the magnifying glass and choose the other from the menu.
