This chapter explains the settings on the main page.
Title
Choose the DVD part to rip. DVD are normally splitted into multiple titles such as the main movie part, trailers, advertisments and others.
Audio
DVD is normally multi-lingual, there will more that one audio track to choose from. Choose the audio track to be set as the default audio track.
Subtitle
Choose the subtitle to be included. When set to none, the subtitle will not be included in the ripped file.
Angle
Movie are normally stored at Angle = 1.
Program Chain (Technical Descriptions)
A cell is a basic unit for playback of video and audio data. Each cell is uniquely identified by its starting and ending sector address on the DVD disc. A Program Chain (PGC) defines the order in which cells are played back and how they are played back depending upon the current settings of the DVD player.
In Rip and Unprotect, the PGC shows the length or play time of the specific DVD title.
Format
Choose the output video format that you require.
Split Mode
If set to infinite, the output will be a single file. You can set the output file size to fit your CD or customize the size of the file. You can also choose to rip the DVD chapter by chapter to generate individual file for each chapter.
File Name
The file name of the ripped file. If there are more than one file, the file number will automatically be assigned a named incrementally, the last two letters of the file name will be numerical.
