Wishlist
The Radiotracker's platinum version provides the Wishlist feature. If the Wishlist is activated Radiotracker automatically recognizes when an artist or song that you "wished" for is played on one of the 13.000 stations known to Radiotracker and starts the recording. Using the Wishlist saves much time and bandwidth.
Activate the Wishlist with the "Hunting wishlist" checkbox and Radiotracker automatically searches for your favorite songs and artists.
Unlike the "Taste in Music" selection mode only the songs from the Wishlist are saved on the PC, when the Wishlist is activated.
As soon as you have activated the Wishlist, Radiotracker starts to search for the songs that you have wished for and to rip them. Press the "Stop All" button to stop the ripping process of the Wishlist, Autorip and the manually started recordings.
Defining a Wishlist
Click on the "Wishlist" button. A window will appear that displays artists and titles on the left, and your wishes on the right.
Select an artist on the left and click on the "Add" button to insert this artist, along with all associated works, into your Wishlist.
You can remove artists from your Wishlist by selecting them on the right and clicking on the "Delete" button.
Individual songs can also be placed on the Wishlist. Keep in mind that in certain cases you might have to wait a long time before your selected songs are played by a station. Experts can also insert artists and songs by clicking on the "Add manually" button. It is likely that manually-inserted wishes will be played relatively infrequently by broadcasters.
You should always keep the displayed frequency of artists or songs in mind:
The less the play frequency, the longer Radiotracker must search broadcasters to fulfil your wish.

The "Wishlist" Dialog Window: On the left you will find a list of artists that Radiotracker knows about, and under this a list of the artist's works. Your current Wishlist is displayed on the right. The play frequency for all artists and their songs is displayed in all lists.
Updating the Music Database
Approximately 77,000 artists are pre-defined in Radiotracker when you install it. You can manually update this database anytime you'd like by activating on the "Fill database" checkbox. Radiotracker will search for new artists and pieces in the background.
Activate on the "Fill database" checkbox. Deactivate the checkbox again to stop the update process.
A good amount of bandwidth is required to update the music database. It's best to perform updates when you can let Radiotracker run for a long time, and when you don't need the full capacity of your internet connection for recording. In Radiotracker's options you can configure parameters that control the music database's update process.
