Internet and Bandwidth Optimizer |
How many times have you sat there waiting
for a page to download from the web, and waited for what seemed like an
eternity while the numbers in the status bar just seem to stall or barely
creep along at ridiculously low transfer speeds? It could just be an overloaded
server on the other end or general Internet congestion, but it might also
be a problem with the way your Windows operating system is configured.
Internet and Bandwidth Optimizer is easy to
use and requires no special computer knowledge. It promotes faster Internet
download speeds by carefully and intelligently tweaking various 'hidden'
Windows settings to provide a substantially faster Internet experience.
No matter what speed you connect at or what other utilities you may have
tried, nothing will provide a FASTER Internet connection for you than
Internet and Bandwidth Optimizer... guaranteed!

Steps to optimize
|
 |
Connection - You need to specify the internet connection
type that you are using. The program will optimize the internet connection
according to the type specified by you. |
|
 |
Maximum Unit - Select maximum data packet size transmitted.
Decrease it for fast network (dial-up modems) and increase for slow networks
(satellite modems). |
|
 |
TCP Receive Window size - You can configure the TCP
window size by adjusting the scroll bar. Specify size of the data packets
that computer receives and acknowledges. Select smaller values for less
reliable connections (e.g. dial-up). |
|
 |
Maximum Connection per server - You can specify maximum
connection that a server can hold. Specify how many connections can be
made to a single server. Increase this value for fast connections (DSL,
Satellite Modem, etc.) |
|
 |
Keep Alive Time (minutes) - This is an additional feature
that will force your modem to send keep-alive packets to verify that the
ideal connection is still alive. This feature is turned Off by default. |
|
 |
Time to Live - Determines the maximum amount of time
IP packet may live in a network without reaching its destination. Recommended
value is 128. |
|
 |
RFC1323 Settings :
Windows Scaling - Window Scaling
must be enabled if you want to use Receive window larger than 64 KB.
Time Stamp - Time Stamps help to measuring round trip times to adjust retransmission
time-outs. Better leave this disabled. Windows scaling permits to negotiate
RWIN value. |
|
 |
Path MTU Discovery - This helps eliminate
fragmentation at routers along the path which connect networks with different
MTUs. This option is enabled by default. |
