  When to use

Windows stores each and every action of user in the Windows Registry, such as what files are opened by the user, recent documents, etc. Over time this information becomes outdated and irrelevant, causing the Windows Registry to contain erroneous information.

To keep your registry in optimal condition, we recommend using Registry Cleaner at least once a month. It is also advisable to run Registry Cleaner at the following times:

  • After installing complicated software. If a large number of additions to the registry have been made by such an installation, the registry will benefit from the optimization process.

  • After uninstalling any programs. Running Registry Cleaner after uninstalling a program will eliminate the empty entries left behind by the uninstaller, and then compact the registry to avoid excessive memory use.
