Conventions Used in this Help
This help has been designed with the aim of being simple to use and follows the logical structure of Registry Booster guiding you through the various features and functions every step of the way. A tutorial section is included to help you acquire an intermediate understanding of the Windows Registry.
Navigating Through the Help
This help is divided into three main sections each of which has a number of chapters and related topics. In total there are eleven chapters.
The help is divided into two main areas: the Content Area on the right side of your screen and the Table of Contents.

The following icons are used to denote the three main sections, the eleven chapters.

Topic |
To navigate from one section, chapter or topic to the next, you may
either double click on the section, chapter or topic or click on the forward
or back
arrow at the top right hand corner
of the header within the help page currently being viewed. Alternatively,
at the bottom of each topic you will see
with a hypertext
link to the next section, chapter or topic. These sections are entitled
"What's Next?"
All links are hypertext and are denoted in a blue underlined font. Clicking on the hypertext link takes you to the relevant topic or reveals a pop-window with a definition of the term being used.

Within the topic itself you may also find the hypertext link with the phrase "Back to the top". Clicking on this link takes you to the top of the topic.
Text may be typed in a normal font denoting general information, larger and in blue denoting a heading within a particular topic or in a different size and colour denoting an important term usually relating to a feature within the software.
Consecutive steps that require being done in sequence are indicated by arrows (->), which connect each step. For example, to open Registry Booster from the Windows Start menu, click on the "Start" menu button, move up to "All Programs" (or "Programs") menu item. In the resulting cascading menu, select the "Registry Booster" folder and in the subsequent cascading menu, select the "Registry Booster" itself. This is easily represented by the following shorthand convention:
Start -> All Programs -> Programs -> Registry Booster -> Registry Booster
Pay special attention to notes set apart from the text with the following icons:

. Click
on the left mouse button to reveal the relevant menu, highlight your preferred
selection and click on the appropriate entry.
