In order to always be on guard for any hacker attack and be ready to delete a virus or some other dangerous program, Kaspersky Anti-Virus needs real-time support. Update is designed to do exactly that. It is responsible for updating databases and application modules utilized by Kaspersky Anti-Virus.
The update download feature provides the capability to save database and application module updates received from Kaspersky Lab servers to a local folder to be shared with other hosts on the network to reduce internet traffic.
