Running multiple instances of HyperSnap-DX
Sure, you can run multiple instances of the program. In fact, this is a powerful way to support different capture settings and different types of captures during a single session, and to cut and paste data between different documents.
But there are a few things to remember when you do this.
Only one copy of the program can respond to hot keys,
which is logical if you think about it.
The program's final values for "operating options"
is defined by the last copy that was closed
during a multi-instance session. This copy will write out changes to the
program's registry upon exit, overwriting any previously-written values.
Only one chunk of data at one time can go on the standard
Windows clipboard. So if you wish to use the clipboard to exchange data,
remember that if you go to instance three to copy something, but previously
copied something to the clipboard in instance one and have not saved it
to a file, you'll destroy the first data instance one sent to the clipboard.
