The View menu adjusts the appearance of the Workspace by turning off and on the Main Toolbar, the Web Services Toolbar, the Add-ons Toolbar, and the Task List. Check for viewing, and uncheck them to hide them.

When you turn off the Task List, a very small adjustable border remains. You can drag this border horizontally to access the Task List as you work.
