Schedule Download Stop/Hang Up

GetRight has several options about scheduling GetRight to stop downloading and hang up your modem.  Any downloads in progress will be stopped when GetRight hangs up. 

This would be useful if your phone rate changes at some time in the morning and you want GetRight to stop downloading before the rate increases.  For example, when combined with the scheduled dialing, you could set GetRight to start downloading at 1:00 AM and then stop at 7:00 AM.

NOTE:  If you are set to be "Always connected to the Internet..." (see Internet Configuration tab)  then GetRight will just stop all downloads at the set time, if you are set to any of the other items on the Internet Configuration tab, then GetRight will also try to hang up the modem.  If you are always connected, some items here (like "Hang up by a number of minutes after GetRight dials modem" will not be available.)

NOTE2: GetRight does not actually have to be downloading anything for it to hang up your phone at a specific time.

NOTE3:  If the "Turn Off Computer When Done" toolbar button is pressed on the Download Status, then at the scheduled time, GetRight will both hang up the modem and turn off the computer.

       Example:  A good use for this, unlike in the US, many places in the world pay for all phone calls--even local calls.  I've been told that some telephone system now gives the first 19 minutes of a local call free--so you could schedule GetRight to hang up after 17 minutes of downloading and then dial again and continue to avoid charges. 

       {I don't know how well the phone company would like people doing this, but it is possible to do now.}

       TIP:  Give less than the max to take into accout the time needed to make the connection and for GetRight's prompting to verify hanging up.

       NOTE:  This option works only if GetRight is doing your Internet dialing!
