(Configuration Wizard)

The Configuration Wizard is available in both Basic and Full modes.  (In Basic mode, it is used for all Configuration menu items.  In Full mode, a "Configuration Wizard" menu item is on the Download Status window, Edit menu.)

This Wizard is to make it easier for you to set up some of the most common and important options in GetRight.  Each of the "pages" contains some help text and a few simple choices.

What main Configuration items each page is helping you set up (these can help give a little more information about some of these items)

Registration: 

       Please register and pay for shareware.  (This one will not show if you have registered.)

GetRight Mode: 

       General tab, the "Basic ..." checkbox.

Internet Connection Type: 

       Sets up many of the different timeouts on the Connections tab and File Mirrors tab and the number of files to do at once on the Limits tab.

Web Browsers: 

       Monitor tab.  the top items.

Prompting to Download:

       Advanced tab, the "Start downloading immediately..." and "Prompt to start downloading..." items.

Geographic Location:

       File Mirrors tab.  the top box

Proxy Servers:

       Proxy tab.  (This one will not show if GetRight does not think you need proxy servers.)

Download When Connected:

       Internet tab, the "Always start automatic downloading..." item.

Sounds:

       General tab, sets up many of the sounds.

       The "Some Sounds" item just sets sounds for finishing a download and prompting to hang up your modem or shut down your computer.  The "All Sounds" sets many more sounds.

Logging Downloads:

       Advanced tab, the "Write individual *.log file..." and "Keep log of all..." items.

Virus Scanner:

       Advanced tab, the "Send to virus scanner..." item.
