Basic mode hides many of the advanced options to make it simpler for users who just want to download files without all the fancy extras.
Full mode provides access to all available functions in GetRight.
You may change between Full mode and Basic mode from either the Configuration window (General tab) or the Configuration Wizard.
Changes in Basic mode:
| • | The Configuration Wizard is used instead of the many-tabbed Configuration window. |
| • | Many of the menu items and toolbar items are hidden on the Download Status and other windows. |
| • | The Download Status uses a different default toolbar (with text in the buttons.) |
| • | GetRight always operates in a sort of "Automatic" mode--as long as no errors occur, when a file finishes downloading, if there are more to be downloaded, then they are started. But errors will stop this. |
| • | Most of the items you can set up on the many-tabbed Configuration window will still be used, even though you can't get back to that configuration window without switching back to Full mode. |
