Creating A New Database
1. Click on the the menu option : Database | New . Instant Invoice will display the "Create New Database" dialog.
2. You can choose to create your database in :
- My Personal Folder - Only you will have access to the database and other users of this computer will not be able to open this database
- A Shared Folder For All Users Of This Computer - All users of this computer will have access to this database
3. Enter your Company/ Business Name and specify a Data Folder where you wish to place the database. Click OK when ready.

Note that you can create you database in other locations if desired. Click the [Save] image at the end of the Data folder box to browse to other locations.
4. If the Data Location you specified does not exist on your computer, you will be prompted if you wish to create it. To proceed, you should select Yes.
