Choosing settings
The Tools screen allows you to adjust System Information, and maintain various Driver Detective settings.
When you change or update any value within this screen be sure to click Save before leaving.
Tools provides the following key features:
- *Modify System Information.
- Update your driver download directory path.
- Adjust the number of simultaneous driver downloads. You may download up to 5 drivers at the same time; however, PC Drivers Headquarters recommends installing one driver at a time and restarting your computer after each driver install.)
- Show/Hide the Alternative Drivers tab in the Driver Information window.
- *Include/Exclude devices that are "Unplugged" during the Driver Scan.
*Changes to these values require you to perform a new Driver Scan.
