Creating and using bookmarks
Within the Site Manager you can have special entries called Bookmarks associated with specific sites. When you select a Bookmark, specific local or remote folders (or both) open.
To create a bookmark
Select the folder you want to bookmark.
Right-click in either the remote or local window
Choose Bookmark Current Folder from the pop-up menu. The bookmark will appear in the Site Manager as a sub-listing of the remote site’s entry. Bookmarks created in this manner are assigned the remote folder as their default name.
To change a bookmark name
Select the bookmark.
On the menu bar, click File > Rename.
Type a new name.
Press the Enter key.
To access a bookmark
Double-click a bookmark in the Site Manager (displayed as a sub-item under the site icon).
A new remote window will be opened and CuteFTP Pro will automatically place you in the bookmark’s remote folder (if there is one specified, otherwise in the root folder). The Site Manager will switch to Local Drives, displaying the local folder specified in the bookmark (unless none is specified).
To remove a bookmark from the Site Manager
Select the bookmark.
On the menu bar, click File > Delete.
Click Yes.
To change a bookmark
Select the bookmark.
On the menu bar, click File > Properties.
In Remote path, type a new path if you want to change the bookmark's remote folder.
In Local path, type a new path if you want to change the bookmark's local folder.
Click OK.
