Virus Vault - Main screen
The Virus Vault is used to lock up infected files out of harms way. You can use the Virus Vault to heal files at a later date and restore them to their original locations on your disk. Files are moved to the Virus Vault during tests and by resident components like the AVG E-mail Scanner.
The Virus Vault Main Screen has:
System menu
List of filters - use the items in the list on the left of the dialog to filter the list of all files in the Virus Vault. You can select files by the date they were moved or by the virus that they were infected with.
Toolbar (control buttons) - use the toolbar (located above the file list) to manipulate selected files underneath - delete, heal, restore to disk, show detailed information about infections, etc.
List of objects - shows objects (files) that meet the filter conditions selected in the List of filters.
The list allows you to select one or more files and manipulate them either from the system menu or by using the toolbar. The object type column graphically indicates whether a file was moved to the Virus Vault or if it is a backup before virus removal; the object status column graphically indicates whether the file is still infected:
S – object status:

The other columns show the file name, the date and time it was created or moved to the Virus Vault, the name of the virus detected and the path to its original location. Use the F5 button to refresh the list contents and the F6 button to optimize column width.
File details
The information box underneath the file list displays additional information (if available) about the currently selected file - the name of the virus detected and the full path before it was moved.
