Scheduler Component
The Scheduler component administrates the scheduled tasks. Only two manufacturer predefined tasks are available in AVG Free Edition: daily update and test run; regular executing of these tasks is essential for full protection of your computer.
In AVG Professional Edition, Scheduler also allows you to create your own tasks.
If you click (highlight) the Scheduler component, these control buttons become available:
