Managing Exceptions
Click on the main menu icon Infections, and then select the Exceptions tab:
At the bottom of the dialog, there are the following buttons:
Add Rule: Opens a new Add ignore rule dialog where you can specify which file to ignore. The options are:
- Ignore by name of threat: If you specify the name of the threat, then all instances of this threat will be ignored. This means that if any copies of the program exist then all of them will be ignored by the scanner (even if they are located in different folders).
- Ignore file/path: Here you can browse for the exact file/folder that you wish to exclude from scans. If you select a folder then all files contained in that folder will also be excluded from scans.
Edit Rule: Opens an Edit ignore rule dialog where you can edit the selected rule.
Delete Rule: Deletes the selected rule without any further warning.
