The Any
Capture Screen menu is the key to fully benefiting from its broad
capabilities. The items under each menu and explanations for each
are given below.

File
Open...
Open
and view an image file.
Now Any Capture Screen supports 11 format file to view:
BMP, JPEG, PNG,
PICT, TIFF, TARGA, Windows Metafile, Windows Enhaced Metafile, PCX, Portable
Greymap file, GIF etc.
Close
Close the current image view window.
Close All Close all image view windows.
Save Save the current image file.
Save As... Save the current image file with a new name.
Print... Print the current image to special printer.
Print Preview Display full print pages.
Print Setup... Change the printer,
printing options and printing layout. Get more information about this

Send
Mail Send a message via the resident mail host (if any) with
the current image as an attachment
Explore Output Directory Explore automatically saving directory.
Recent File List List recent opened
or saved image file.
Exit Quit Any Capture Screen application.
Edit
Undo Undo
the last action.
Redo Redo
the previously undone action.
Cut
Cut the selection and put it on the clipboard.
Copy the Selection
to the Clipboard Cut
the selection and put it on the clipboard.
Paste Into Current
Image Insert
Clipboard contents into the current image.
Paste As
New Image Create
a new image from the clipboard.
Select Region
Select
a rectangle region in the current image.
Select All Select
the entire image.
Unselect Region Unselect

Copy All to the clipboard Copy all
of the image and put it on the clipboard.
Delete Delete the current active draw
object.

Active Window Select the
Active Window menu item to capture the active window.
Active
Window Client Select the
Active Window Client menu item to capture the client area of the active
window.
Control, Button
and Child Window Select
this menu item to capture a control, button or child window in window
or dialog.
Single Window
Select Single Window menu
item to capture a window such as topmost window, menu window etc.
Square Select
this menu item to capture a square region of screen. Get more information

Recangle Select
this menu item to capture a rectangle region of screen. Get more information

Ploygon Select
this menu item to capture a ploygon region of screen. Get more information

Circle Select
this menu item to capture a circle region of screen. Get more information

Ellipse Select
this menu item to capture a ellipse region of screen. Get more information

Menu Select
this menu item to capture a
popup menu. To accomplish it, you must use capture menu hotkey.
Some application (like
the in many microsoft product) do not have true menus. To capture these
menus, use single window capture mode to capture the 'menu' manually.
Desktop Select
this menu item
to capture full screen.
Repeat Last(?)
Select this menu item to capture repeatly the last capture action.
Default Action(?)
Select this menu item
to capture the default capture action. You can configure it's action by
general options dialog.
Enable DirectX Capture Select this
menu item to enable or disable DirectX Capture mode. Press Scroll Lock
hotkey to start DirecX Capture. This screen capture mode automatically
captures any DirectDraw surfaces that exist. Typically this screen capture
mode is used to capture data from video player applications, DVD players
and some video games. If a DirectDraw surface does not exist, Desktop
screen capture mode is used. Games that are currently running may need
be closed and re-started for captures to work correctly.
Activate Capture Hotkey Select this
menu item to enable or disable capture hotkey.
Auto Scroll Window Enable or disable
auto-scroll window feature.
Color
Picker start color picker operation
Note:
Using hotkey capture your desired image strongly recommended.
Operations
Resize...
the
resize operation stretches the current image to a width and height specified
in pixels.
Scale... The
scale operation increases or decreases the current image's size, maintaining
the current width to height ratio. The current image is sized to fit completely
within the new size.
Stretch...
The
stretch operation increases or decreases the current image's size. Height
and width are stretched independently. The current image is sized to fit
completely within the new size.
Rotate >
Rotate 90° clockwise Operation
The rotate 90° clockwise operation rotates the current image 90°
to the right. This causes the image's width to become its height and the
image's height to become its width.
Rotate 90° counter-clockwise operation The rotate 90° counter-clockwise
operation rotates the current image 90° to the left. This causes the
image's width to become its height and the image's height to become its
width.
Rotate any angle operation The rotate any
angle operation rotates the current image in one degree increments. The
image's width and height will change accordingly. New image areas exposed
by this operation are filled with the background color.
Crop Select
this menu item to crop the current image to selected rectangle, reducing
it's size.
Filp >
Flip horizontally operation The
flip horizontally operation flips the current image or its selected area
left to right.
Flip
vertically operation The flip vertically operation flips the current
image or its selected area top to bottom.
Brightness... The
brightness effect increases the brightness of the current image.
Contrast... The
contrast effect increases the contrast of the current image. This effect
takes two parameters. The first parameter's value sets the amount of contrast.
The second value sets the intensity.
Grayscale
The
convert to grayscale operation changes the image's color depth to 8 bits.
This will create a color palette composed of 256 unchangeable shades of
gray.
Invert
The
invert effect applies a photo-negative effect to the current image.
View
Zoom 25% Select
the Zoom 25% to view the current image at quarter of it's normal size.
This can also be accomplished by pressing the
button on the toolbar.
Zoom
50% Select
the Zoom 50% to view the current image at half of it's normal size. This
can also be accomplished by pressing the
or button on the
toolbar.
Zoom 100% Select
the Zoom 100% to view the current image at it's normal size. This can
also be accomplished by pressing the
or button on the
toolbar.
Zoom 200% Select
the Zoom 200% to view the current image at twice it's normal size. This
can also be accomplished by pressing the
or button on the
toolbar.
Zoom 400%
Select
the Zoom 400% to view the current image at four times it's normal size.
This can also be accomplished by pressing the
button on the toolbar.
Toolbar Check
the Toolbar menu item to toggle the visibility of the Main
toolbar.
Drawbar Check the Drawbar menu item
to toggle the visibility of the Draw
toolbar.
Status
bar Check
the Status bar menu item to toggle the visibility of the Status
bar.
Manage view tab bar Check
the Manage view tab bar menu item to toggle the visibility of the Manage
view tab bar.
Reload
from disk Reload the current image from disk.
Window
New
Window Select
New Window menu item to create a new the same current image view window.
Cascade
Select
the Cascade menu item to cascade all image windows.
Arrange Icons Select
the Arrange Icons menu item to line up all minimized image windows.
Windows... Select
Windows... menu item to show the current opened window
manage dialog.
