About Dialog


General Options Dialog

Gerernal Options Dialog is a child dialog of Options Dialog. The Options dialog is displayed by selecting the Capture/Optionss menu item. Then click general options items of listbox, the general options child dialog is shown. The General Options Dialog sets general program options. This dialog box includes the following items:

Minimize to system tray when main window minimized check box : Check this check box to cause Any Capture Screen will be not minimized to taskbar when main window minimized. You can restore main window by double clicking system tray icon of Any capture Screen, or selecting Show Main Window menu item of tray icon popup menu.
Minimize to system tray on startup check box : Check this check box to cause main window of Any Capture Screen will be hidden when it startup. You can show main window again by double clicking system tray icon of Any capture Screen, or selecting Show Main Window menu item of tray icon popup menu.
Popup main window after capture check box : Check this check box to popup main window of Any Capture Screen after capture operation finished.
Enable sounds after capture check box : Check this check box to play the sound effects within Any Capture Screen after capture operation finished.
Reset recent file list on exit check box : Check this check box to clear the list of recent files at the bottom of the File menu on Any Capture Screen exiting.
Reset Recent File List button : Press this button to clear the list of recent files at the bottom of the File menu.

Automatically run on Windows startup check box : Check this check box to cause Any Capture Screen automatically run when Windows 95/98/ME/NT 4.0/2000/XP starts up.
Prompt to save modified images check box : Check this check box to popup prompt to save modified images dialog if any opened images was modified when closing the image view window or exit Any Capture Screen.
Send untitled and modified images mail as combo box : Sends a message via the resident mail host (if any) with the current image as an attachment. Any Capture Screen saves untitled and modified documents to a temporary file with your selected image format, which is then sent via electronic mail. If the image has not been modified, a temporary file is not needed; the original is sent. Any Capture Screen loads MAPI32.DLL if it has not already been loaded.
Initial view zoom factor radio box : Select initial zoom factor when you open image file or capture image.

Capture Options Dialog

Include mouse pointer on capturing check box : Check the Include mouse pointer check box to include an image of the cursor in screen captures.
Freeze screen while capturing check box : Freeze screen before capture action.
Include DirectX surface check box : Retrieve bitmap data from DirectX surface after capture action.
Default Capture Action list box : Select default capture action from combo box, the items of combo box are following: Desktop, Active Window, Active Window Client, Control,button and child window, Menu, Single Window, Rectangle, Square, Circle, Ellipse, Polygon, Free hand and DirectX etc. Select your desired capture action item of combo box as default capture action. Using Default Capture Action to capture your desired pictures of screen is strong recommended because of it's only single hotkey feature.
Polygon filling mode radio button : Select ploygon filling mode between winding and alternate while polygon mode capturing.
Start capture after 300+xxx ms edit box : use this edit box to specify the amount of time to wait before capturing.
Repeat Last Capture Mode radio box : Select and config Repeat Last Capture mode in 'Track last position and size', 'Directly capture without tracking' and 'Only track action'.

Menu&Scroll Options Dialog

Auto-scroll window during Window or Control capture check box : Enable or disable auto-scroll window feature. Any Capture can automatically vertically scroll and capture the contents of a window. When this option is used, Any Capture captures a portion of the contents, scrolls down, captures another portion and continues until the entire contents have been captured. Finally all portions are combined into a final image. This option is used by Single Window and Control,Button,Child Window screen capture modes.

Note: Auto-scroll doesn't work for all applications that have a vertical scroll bar.

Auto-scroll refresh time edit box : Sets the rate at which the window will be scrolled during capture. A smaller number causes the screen to be scrolled faster, a larger number causes it to be scrolled more slowly. You may have to adjust this figure to obtain the results you desire from the capture.
Bitmap size less than 16 megabytes check box : If check this option, stop screen capture when bitmap size are more than 16 megabsytes.

Include menu bar check box : To capture the menu bar that shows above the drop-down menu, put a check mark in the this chenk box.
Capture Cascaded menu check box : To capture cascaded menu, put a check mark in the this chenk box.
Use Screen Background check box : To dispaly capture menu on screen background, put a check mark in the this chenk box.


Capture Hotkey Options Dialog

Capture Hotkey Options Dialog is a child dialog of Options Dialog. The Options dialog is displayed by selecting the Capture/Optionss menu item. Then click capture hotkey options items of listbox, the hotkey options child dialog is shown. The Capture Hotkeyl Options Dialog Sets the hotkeys used to activate screen capture modes.This dialog box includes:

Ctrl check boxes : Check the Ctrl check box to add the control key to the hotkey sequence.
Alt check boxes :
Check the Alt check box to add the altl key to the hotkey sequence.
Shift check boxes :
Check the Shift check box to add the Shift key to the hotkey sequence.
Hotkey combo boxes :
Select the key to add the hotkey squence.

Reset button : Press Reset button to reset all of hotkeys to default hotkey.

Capture Output Options Dialog

After an image is captured, options set on the Capture Output Options dialog determine what Any Capture Screen does with each image. A captured image can be copied, printed, saved and/or used to create an image window. An image window will always be created if a save, print or copy operation fails or is aborted.

Output to a file can display the Save dialog or use the automatically named options. If the automatically named options are used, Any Capture Screen will automatically name and save files. The path is specified in the Save files in directory edit box. The file name is computed by assembling values in the File names begin with edit box, the and end with a X digit counter edit box, the
starting with edit box and the Save image as combo box. Each time a file is automatically named and saved, the counter is incremented. This results in sequentially named files.

Capture Output Options Dialog is a child dialog of Options Dialog. The Options dialog is displayed by selecting the Capture/Optionss menu item. Then click capture output items of listbox, the capture output options child dialog is shown. The Capture Output Options Dialog configures what happens to images after capture. This dialog box includes:

Create an image window after capturing an image check box : Check this check box to create an image window after capturing an image. This check box will be automatically checked if Print the image on a printer or Save the image to file check boxes are checked. If Copy the image to clipboard, Print the image on a printer and Save the image to file check boxes are not checked, this check box wil also be automatically checked.

Copy the image to clipboard after captring an image check box : Check this check box to automatically copy newly captured image to the clipboard.

Print the image on a printer after capturing an image check box : Check this check box to automatically print newly captured imag. The Print Dialog will appear unless the Skip Print dialog and use the current printer setting check box is checked.

Skip Print dialog and use the current printer setting check box : Check this check box to automatically print newly captured images without user input. Uncheck this check box to display the Print dialog when automatically printing a newly captured image.

Save the image to file after capturing an image check box : Check this check box to automatically save newly captured images. The Save dialog will appear unless the Automatically name and save the image using the following settings check box is checked.

Automatically name and save the image using the following settings check box : Check this check box to automatically name and save newly captured images without user input. Uncheck this check box to display the Save dialog when automatically saving a newly captured image. This sub-option is used when the Save the image to a file check box is checked. When this option is used, the controls beneath this check box construct file names and set file properties.

Save files in directory edit box : Use this edit box to specify the location of automatically saved files. Press the Browse button to browse for a directory. This sub-option is used when the Save the image to a file and Automatically name and save the image using the following settings check boxes are checked.

Browse button : Press this button to browse for the location of automatically saved files.

File names begin with edit box : Enter the prefix of all automatically named files in this edit box. Do not enter a file extension in this edit box. Do not enter the following special characters: /:*?"<>| .

end with a __ digit counter edit box : Enter the number of counter digits to append to the end of automatically named file names in this edit box.

starting with __ edit box : Enter the counter value in this edit box. This value increases each time an image is automatically named and saved.

Save image as combo box : Select the file type to automatically save captured images from this combo box. Now Any Capture Screen supports the following 5 format saved files: BMP, JPEG, GIF, PNG, TIFF.

Replace existing files check box : Check this check box to silently overwrite existing files.

Wrap counter check box : Check this check box to reset the counter after the counter is used up.

Reset counter on startup check box : Check this check box to reset the counter each time Any Capture Screen is started.

When capturing to a file, it may be useful to uncheck the Popup main window after capture check box on the General Options Dialog.

Select Color Options Dialog

Select Color Options Dialog is a child dialog of Options Dialog. The Options dialog is displayed by selecting the Capture/Optionss menu item. Then click Select Color items of listbox, the Select Color options child dialog is shown. The Select Color Options Dialog configures fill color of image or background fill color of image window. This dialog box includes:

Background fill color of image view window button : Select background fill color of image view window. The unoccupied background of image window by the image will be filled by it.

Background fill color of image button : Select background fill color of image. The remainder background of cutting or moving the selected region will be filled by this color.

Background fill color of capture (transparent color) button : Select transparent color of image after capture. It is useful when you capture circle, ellipse, polygon region or rotate an image.

Reset Default Color button : Reset three fill colors above to default color of Any Capture Screen.

Image Save Options Dialog

Image Save Options Dialog is a child dialog of Options Dialog. The Options dialog is displayed by selecting the Capture/Optionss menu item. Then click Image Save options items of listbox, the Image Save Options child dialog is shown. Now this dialog box can configure options of compress JPEG format file.

Enable optimal Huffman coding tables check box : Enable or disable the generation of optimal Huffmann coding tables using this check box.

Compression Quality edit box : JPEG files are compressed by losing image quality. Select the desired image quality (a number between 1 and 100) from this edit box.

Smoothing Factor edit box : Set the smoothing factor(<=100). 0 turns it off using this edit box.

X and Y edit box : Enter the horizontal resolution and vertical resolution in the X edit box and Y edit box.


Color Picker Options Dialog

Color Picker Options Dialog is a child dialog of Options Dialog. The Options dialog is displayed by selecting the Capture/Optionss menu item. Then click Color Picker options items of listbox, the Color Picker options child dialog is shown. Now this dialog box can configure color picker options.

Copy to clipboard after color picking check box : Check this check box if you want copy color data to clipboard after color picking.

HTML, .NET, VC, BV, VFP, Java, Delphi, RGB, HSB radio Button : Select one color output format among these formats.



Print Layout Dialog

The Print Layout Dialog specifies the layout of the current image on one or more pages. Press Layout button in Print Setup Dialog to display this dialog.
The Print Layout Dialog features a Preview area displays the position and size of the image on the page(s). Changes made to the controls on the Layout page are immediately reflected in the Preview area.
The Print Layout Dialog includes:
Preview area : Displays the position and size of the image on the page(s).
Measuremenu Unit :

Select the Inches radio button to use inches as the unit of measurement.
Select the Centimeters radio button to use centimeters as the unit of measurement.

Horizontally check box : Check this check box to center the current image between the specified left and right margins of the printed page.
Vertically check box : Check this check box to center the current image between the specified top and bottom margins of the printed page.
Sizing method combo box : Choose the desired sizing method from the Sizing method combo box.Sizing methods include:

Fit to Margins Only one page is printed and the image is symmetrically stretched to fit the minimum printer margins.
Width and Height One or more pages are printed so that the total printed width and height equals that in the X and Y edit boxes.

X edit box : Enter the printing width of then image in the X edit box.
Y edit box : Enter the printing height of then image in the Y edit box.
Top edit box : Enter the distance from the top of the page to place the current image in the Top edit box.
Left edit box : Enter the distance from the left of the page to place the current image in the Left edit box.
Right edit box : Enter the minimum distance from the right of the page to potentially place the current image in the Right edit box.
Bottom edit box : Enter the minimum distance from the bottom of the page to potentially place the current image in the Bottom edit box.

Resize, Scale and Stretch Image Dialogs

The three Resize, Scale and Stretch Image dialogs stretches the current image using different methods. They have the same advance options by pressing Advance button to expand dialog. You can use any of four resizing method to resize the current image: Bilinear resizing method, Gaussian resizing mentod, Box resizing method and Hamming resizing method. The last three method need a parameter of Radio. Press Apply button to do resizing operation, and press Invert button to undo just resizing operation.

The Resize operation stretches the current image to a width and height specified in pixels. So You can input new width and new height by width and height edit box or width silder bar and height slider bar in resize dialog.

The scale operation increases or decreases the current image's size, maintaining the current width to height ratio. You can input scale ratio by scale edit box or slider bar in scale dialog.

The stretch operation increases or decreases the current image's size. Height and width are stretched independently. You can input horizontal ratio and vertical ratio by horizontal edit box, vertical edit box, horizontal slider bar or vertical slider bar in stretch dialog.

Any Angle Rotate Image Dialog

The rotate any angle operation rotates the current image in one degree increments. The image's width and height will change accordingly. New image areas exposed by this operation are filled with the background color. You can change two parameters of rotation angle and fill color in Any Angle rotate image dialog.

Adjust Contrast of Image Dialog

The contrast effect increases the contrast of the current image. This effect takes two parameters. The first parameter's value sets the amount of contrast. The second value sets the intensity. The two parameters can be modified in adjust contrast of image dialog.

Adjust Brightness of Image Dialog

The brightness effect increases the brightness of the current image. You can change brightness parameter in adjust brightness of image dialog.

Open Window Manage Dialog

The Open Window Manage Dailog is displayed by selecting the Window/windows... menu item or Manage View Tab Popup Menu/Windows... menu item. The Open Window Manage Dailog lists all of the currently open window. You can activate a window by either double-clicking your selections in the Select window box, or by selecting a window and then clicking the Activate button. If you select a single window, you can choose Activate, Save, Close Window(s) or Minimize. If you select multiple windows, you can choose Save, Close Window(s), Cascade, Tile Vertically, Tile Horizontally or Minimize.

Register Dialog

Enters the register code information in Register Dialog. Once Register user name and key code are entered, You can use all of functions of Any Capture Screen.
