Visendo popConnect 6 connects your Microsoft Exchange Server with your eMail Accounts Visendo popConnect 6 is a very useful tool designed to connect to your Microsoft Exchange Server using your eMail Accounts. Sending eMails works fine with the Exchange Server alone, receiving eMails works better with popConnect.

The new version is speed improved (300%) and has some intersting features.

So you can still better use modern DSL connections. Visendo popConnect 6 serves for the support of your exchange server. It fetches the mails from your POP3- or IMAP4-accounts in the internet and delivers them for the internal email server (exchange server).

More and more sources offer information as "RSS Feed", like news services or portals. A "RSS Feed" is a XML document, which can contain informations about the author, the publication date etc. beside the real informations. You can collect RSS Feeds user obtained and then send them by e-mail into your PO box with Visendo popConnect. You always remain up to date without expending time. Because of that you'll always remain up-to-date without spending time.

All emails collected by the Visendo popConnect 6 from the POP3 or IMAP4 accounts are stored locally in folders. To reduce the space needed, an extended storage function is built-in in Visendo popConnect 6. This offers the possibility to archive e-mails into a ZIP-file daily, weekly or monthly to save storage and increase the survey of the collected e-mails.

Visendo popConnect serves as a connection between your POP3 or IMAP4 accounts in the internet and your internal email server (MS exchange server). Apart from fetching the E-Mail Visendo popConnect also can read RSS feeds in the internet and likewise can transmit the content to the users by email.

Visendo popConnect is an Windows application and must be started regularly by a task planner (planned tasks starting from Windows 2000, ppSchedule). This fact makes popConnect very flexible.

In case of a server removal you only have to copy the popConnect directory and after renewed registration you can directly use it again. Visendo popConnect is configured over a Windows user interface which enables an optimal and fast configuration by assistants.

Each activity of popConnect is noted in log files in the W3C-format and so can easily be analysed graphically.
