SurfSaver is a browser add-on, which lets you store Web pages directly from your browser into searchable folders. SurfSaver permanently saves page on your computer -- a real advantage given the "here today, gone tomorrow" nature of the Internet. You can instantly search the pages you save (even when you're not connected to the Internet). SurfSaver is an ideal tool for researchers, packrats, and anyone else doing online research. Searchable - SurfSaver does more than just save copies of a Web page on your hard drive. It creates a searchable archive of the information. You can collect thousands of pages on a subject and then use SurfSaver to search and organize them. Permanent - With SurfSaver you have a permanent copy of the pages you save. You don't have to worry about the information changing or disappearing from the Internet. Saves with Graphics, Frames, and Formats - SurfSaver saves the page complete with formatting... including graphics, frames, and hypertext links. Share Your Folders - You can share information you collect with SurfSaver. The SurfSaver Network version lets multiple users save, search, and view information. In addition, folders can be emailed to other SurfSaver users. SurfSaver lets a research assistant gather on-line research to share with others. Integrated with the Browser - SurfSaver is seamlessly integrated with the browser. Add Notes - Enter notes and comments about the pages you save.
