At this time supports only USB connection (not Bluetooth) between handheld and laptop. So you need to have the BB desktop manager installed on the laptop that you want to use the shark modem on.

  • Support native Instant Messengers: Yahoo, MSN, AOL, and ICQ
  • Supports Outlook and other email programs


    Requirements:
  • Blackberry OS 3.7 or higher (recommended 4.x
  • Blackberry Desktop software 3.7 or higher
  • One of the above mentioned Blackberry models
  • Full MDS connectivity or direct TCP connectivity
  • If you have a BES behind a firewall, be sure that connections to all servers are permitted and ports 80, 443 and 1863 are opened
  • Be sure you have the 'Desktop [IPPP]' service book installed


    Limitations:
  • When first downloading The Shark Modem Application you will be allowed to test the application with 5 Megabytes of usage. After the 5 Megabytes of usage is used, you will be required to purchase the application to receive your registration code
