On June 9th, 2009 Apple Inc. launched its new version web browser Safari 4.0, and it was declaired that Safari 4.0 is the fastest web browser all around the world even faster than Opera 10. For Windows users, now Safari 4.0 is also available. When you installed the latest version Safari 4.0 on your PC, you will be impressed by its new Windows style. Different from the former vesion, Safari 4.0 changes its skin to Windows stardard, so most of Windows fans may not be strange to a Mac OS default web browser.

As a Windows user, you may be used to Microsoft IE. Now Safari 4.0 will give your a better experience. Similar with Opera 10, the newest Safari 4.0 provides you a function called "Top Sites" that Safari will save the webpage that you always or often visited, and show you in a panorama of the sites just like you are in a cinema.

If you have used Safari browser on Mac OS, that's OK. Safari 4.0 now is available on both Mac and PC. Added with new font renderring effect. Your surfing webpage on Safari will approach on Windows IE, so you can watch the web content clearly. If you do not like this effect, and wanna Safari traditional interface, you can recover to Mac classic one from the setting -> appearance-> font-smoothing.

At the Top sites, you can easily get to your recently visited webpage, and if the webpage has been refreshed after you visited it last time, there will be a star with blue background , so that you will learn the latest news immediately. If you find the image in Top Sites is a little large, you can edit its size as your wish, it will show you a group with 6, 12, and at most 24 pictures in Top Sites.

Safari 4.0 let you check website visit history in a different method, "Cover flow". All the website that you have visited will be showed in a visual image at the top of the history file list. Just like you browse a music CD in iTunes.

Intellictual address bar inputing will let you find the URL you want as soon as possible. You input a key word, Safari will find the corresponding web URL for you, so that you can find the website you want more quickly, but frankly speaking, this function is not provided by Safari 4.0 but by Google search engine.

There is a pity for Safari, that it will take up lots of computer RAM when running, so if your computer RAM capacity is not large enough, browsing webpage with Safari 4.0 will not be quick as the Apple Inc has said to users.
