Preventon Modemwall is an anti-dialler solution from Preventon that is as vital to an ISP's broadband customers as it is to their dial-up customers.

'Diallers' have received much press attention lately, thanks to their ability to 'silently' dial-out to premium rate telephone numbers through a PC user's available modem line. British Telecom's recent acknowledgement of the severity of the problem they can cause to PC users is proof positive that dialler's are a serious threat to home PC users.

Preventon Modemwall is a simple to use 'always on' solution that ensures a users fax modem never dials a telephone number that they haven't pre-approved.

An ISP's dial-up customers are not the only market for this solution - in fact any PC user which has a modem connected to a PSTN (standard telephone) socket is at risk; whether they connect to the internet through broadband, satellite or any other medium.
