LucidLink Wireless LAN Security - wireless network security LucidLinkTM is the first Wi-Fi wireless network software solution that provides a high level of security for wireless networks without requiring wireless security and networking expertise.
LucidLink Wireless LAN Security makes it easy to both establish and manage your 802.11 WiFi wireless secutiry as your organization changes. And it is the first product that provides true enterprise-level security for your LAN that's simple and flexible enough to make it a practical solution for both small business and home office.
LucidLink has two parts:
- Wireless Client: This software runs on your wireless laptop or PC, and provides secure connectivity to the network
- Security Management Console: This software runs on a PC that is wired to your network and authorizes wireless clients to access the network.
LucidLink includes free-to-distribute clients for XP & W2K and works with 802.1X enabled access points including 3Com, Cisco, D-Link, Linksys, Motorola, Netgear, SMC & Zyxel. It secures your wireless network with Wi-Fi Protected Access (802.1X) authentication and advanced WPA encryption with a very easy-to-use interface.
This home office version supports up to 3 users - a free registration is a offered after 30 days. If you need more than 3 users, commercial version are available as well.
