Link Commander, by Resort Labs is a cool utility for really getting a handle on all your bookmarks. Personally I have very few bookmarks, but my wife has hundreds so Link Commander caught my eye. I was impressed with how easy-to-use the program is, perfect for users with all levels of experience.
The user interface is also quite intuitive and I always like that. You can import your bookmarks and then arrange them in a manner that makes sense to you. One really cool feature is the ability to password protect folders within the program. That way no one else can access your private bookmarks. I also really like the fact that you can share you bookmark files with family and friends. Link Commander is not browser specific or dependent so you can use it with any browser.
In testing it out I used it with Firefox, Opera, and Internet Explorer and it worked perfectly with each of them. If you have lots of bookmarks you'll like the fact that you can easily search your collection in Link Commander.
Another cool feature of Link Commander is the fact that it actually monitors the Windows clipboard. Why is that cool? Well, because when you copy a URl into the clipboard Link Commander knows about it and responds.
If you're looking for a way to manager all your bookmarks, organize them, use them with multiple browsers, and share your bookmarks with others, this may be the solution you've been looking for. Give it a try, I recommend it.
