This software utility saves GMAIL locally as MSG or EML files GMAIL Webmail Archiver is a software utility that will save GMAIL locally as EML or MSG files.
It extracts email from an Outlook IMAP account setup to download GMAIL. The generated messages can be used with an email indexing product such as dtSearch, copied to CDs/DVDs for general archiving purposes, used in EDD processing for litigation discovery purposes, used to migrate messages to an alternate local e-mail or webmail service, or just saved as insurance against data loss at the webmail service.
