A software utility that will search and extract links from any type of file Extract Link is a small, yet useful software application that helps you to search and extract links from any type of file.

A powerful extraction utility to search and extract links (http, ftp, email, news) from any type of file (Html, Word, Excel, executables, and so on). User can save the results in an output text file and the output file can then be easily imported in any complex database tool as desire. It presents results in link, base, domain separately and supports link compare, extraction depth, duplicate link/base removal, domain check list, etc.

Extract Link can also search inside archive files (ace, arc, arj, bh, cab, jar, lha, rar, tar, zip, etc.) for specific links and extract them.

Here are some key features of "Extract Link":

  • Search and extract http: , https: , ftp: , file: , email , news: , tel/phone, fax link.
  • Support custom link and custom text as well.
  • Can search text (html, txt, etc.) and binary files (exe, doc, xls, etc.)
  • Can search inside archived files (ace, arc, arj, bh, cab, jar, lha, rar, tar, zip, etc.) for specific type of link.
  • Support "Extraction Depth". For example: Extraction Depth = 0 means all base URL will be extracted, removing other part of the URL.
  • Automatically remove duplicate link and optionally base part.
  • Can remove bookmark (#) and param (?) part of the URL automatically during process.
  • Check domain list (.com, .net, .ca, .uk, ..) for URL accuracy.
  • Option to exclude specific disk files/folders/extensions/text/link during search and extract.
  • Save/Append processed link to text file separating each result with line, tab, comma, other custom char which can then be imported to true databases if desire.
  • Option to manually edit/delete extracted results.
  • Option to remove duplicate link of current list by comparing previously saved files.
  • Easy to use, efficient, accurate data extraction.
  • Fast threaded search algorithm saves system resources, works fine in background.
