Express Assist

Outlook Express Backup, Restore and Synchronize Utility Express Assist (EA) is the original and the premier "Backup and Restore" application for Outlook Express (OE) users.

Express Assist has features not found in any other Outlook Express backup utility including: Search for and view messages in the backup without restoring; Find and view messages in the backup not currently in Outlook Express; Restore lost messages without losing the current mail folders; Retrieve messages as text or EML (mail) files; Backup and restore IE favorites, cookies and offLine web folders in addition to Outlook Express data; backup and restore OE message rules, mail accounts, and critical registry settings.

Express Assist is designed for all levels of user. The novice will find the EA wizard interface simple but powerful, while the advanced user will appreciate the built-in scheduler and the ability to backup and restore multiple OE identites at the same time. The program includes a "Live Update" function to ensure that you always have the latest version of the software. Express Assist is in use by many thousands of users world wide.

Here are some key features of "Express Assist":

  • Backup all, or a selected list, of your mail folders (including all attachments) as a compressed, zip compatible backup file.
  • Easily restore one, all, or any selection, of the mail folders saved in your backup file.
  • Find (and restore) messages in the backup which are not in the current Outlook Express (OE) message folders. This allows you to synchronize OE message folders. This is unique to Express Assist!.
  • Search for and View any message in the backup file without restoring. This is unique to Express Assist!.
  • Backup and Restore OE message Rules, Mail Accounts and Preferences
  • Backup and restore your Windows Address Book along with the mail folders.
  • Quick Backup - One step backup using the parameters from the prior backup. The program remembers how you like to do things.
  • Automatic reminder to backup after a set number of days - according to your needs. Never again forget this important task.
  • Backup your Internet Explorer favorites, cookies, and offline folders The IE data is included with no more than a mouse click!
  • Backup & Restore multiple OE identities at the same time.
  • Retrieve messages from the backup as text (txt) files or as Outlook Express EML files.
  • Upgrading or moving to a new PC? Express Assist allows you to restore the backup data to the same or another machine.... including machines running different versions of Windows.
  • If you need to refer to your actions, a log is maintained for each Backup or Restore. This can easily be printed as required.
  • Schedule the backup using the simple Express Assist scheduler (included), or using the Windows Scheduler.
  • Works with Outook Express 6 (all versions) and Outlook Express 5 (all versions).
