Adds the sender of a correct message automatically to allowed senders : if you qualify a message as being correct by clicking on , the sender will be automatically added to the list of allowed senders.

Adds the sender of a spam automatically to blocked senders : if you qualify a message as being a spam by clicking on , the sender will be automatically added to the list of blocked senders.

Cleans the inbox at start-up : if you wish, Dynaxa Anti-Spam can clean the inbox when Outlook or Outlook Express are started. This option is especially convenient for Exchange users.

Cleans the subfolders when cleaning a folder (only on Outlook) : if this option is enabled, Dynaxa Anti-Spam will successively analyze all the subfolders of the folder you want to clean. The length of the process will depend on the complexity of the arborescence.

Treats messages with blank sender as spams : if the sender (From:) field is blank, the message is sent to the quarantine.

Treats messages where the sender and the addressees are identical as spams. If the sender (From:) and the addressee (To:) fields have the same e-mail address, the message is sent to the quarantine.

Enables the intelligent filtering technology (Bayesian filter) : this option enables the Dynaxa Anti-Spam mathematical process to analyze the message content and determine the probability that it is or is not a spam.

Enables the web filtering technology : when a link is included in a message, Dynaxa Anti-Spam launches an analysis to check the content of the page, to see whether its content can be considered as spam or not. This is particularly effective for spams having only one link, as a picture.

Uses the servers of black lists to block spams : in real time, SLN technology checks relay servers which send large numbers of spams on Internet. When a message comes from one of these servers, Dynaxa Anti-Spam automatically puts it in quarantine.

Spam tolerance level : thanks to this tolerance level, you can adjust Dynaxa Anti-Spam sensitivity to spams. For optimum efficiency, you should leave the maximum configuration. This configuration will influence the results of the Bayesian analysis done by the intelligent filtering and the web filtering. If you configure the threshold at its highest level, almost all spams will be blocked, but some desired messages may also be blocked. So, you should check the contents of the quarantine from time to time. On the other hand, if you configure the tolerance threshold at its lowest level, only the most obvious spams will be blocked and sent to quarantine.
