An email client with built-in spam filter.
"Clyton - your excellent mail assistant!"

Review by Michael E. Callahan aka Dr. File Finder
Clyton, by Gammadyne Corporation, is a really cool email client that I found while I was poking around here on Tucows. Clyton has some impressive features among which is a dedicated SPAM filter. The company claims the program removes 85% of incoming SPAM right out of the proverbial box.
In testing it out I can't dispute that because Clyton did a great job. On top of that you can tweak the anti-spam setting by having a whitelist to keep people in your address book safe. The program has support for POP and IMAP, spell checking, and a built-in editor that can handle HTML email messages. The program is multithreaded which in simple terms means it does well at handling multiple tasks, or threads, at one time. If you're concerned about privacy you can encrypt your email and password protect it.
Clyton even supports the "DomainKeys" system from Yahoo! that lets you sign and verify email. Slick! In working with it I found Clyton to be simply loaded with cool and useful features. For example, it supports drag and drop, a viewer for attachments, automatic deletion of messages, message shredding, and even reminders.
The program has obviously been very carefully thought-out and it shows. You can "skin" it to change the look, and there are lots of configurable options. I like it so much that it's not only a Pick, but it's also a Dr. File Finder Favorite and in 25 years of reviewing software there haven't been many of those. So, if you're looking for an email client with some punch and a good spread of features, this may be exactly what you need. Give it a try, I recommend it.
