You are optionally notified when popup ads are blocked by a flash of the tray icon and Custom-Speakers sound (or PC Beep).

It optionally blocks banner ads for faster surfing. The available options for the blocked ads are: empty frame; '[AD]'- a frame containing the text '[AD]'; a frame containing the ALT text of the banner image; or custom image.

Smart Popup Stopper Pro also gives you a chance to block the popup and banner ads of some commonly used freeware programs as Kazaa Media Desktop, Morpheus, Gator, iMesh, ICQ Lite and Pro, AOL Instant Messenger, MSN Messenger and Yahoo Messenger. You can also easily block GIF and Flash animations.

Smart Popup Stopper supports all versions of Internet Explorer.

It's easy to use as it's self configurable. The program runs in the background. It is enabled by default but you can quickly change this setting.

Features:

  • Schedule tasks to prevent forgetting to erase or hide records, minimizing the danger for you. You only have to set the option once to cover your tracks automatically.
  • Use Stealth Mode so that you can be confident that everything is erased without opening the eraser window. Only you will know what's going on.

  • Emergency key. Kill many Internet Explorer windows quickly with the Emergency key. When your wife, kids, or boss show up unexpectedly, don't get caught! Shut down several open Internet Explorer windows by pressing Ctrl+Alt+Z and you are safe! All Internet Explorer windows close immediately and all the tracks are erased in stealth mode.
  • Erase the recent files information. Many media players and programs store the last file that you watched. Another user on the computer can see the last picture or movie that you have viewed. Smart Protector - Internet Eraser Pro clears the recent files list for most popular programs such as Windows Media Player, Real Player, ACDSee, Google toolbar, and more.
