| ImTOO DVD Ripper is a versatile and easy to use copying software which can support almost all popular formats. You can convert your DVDs to VCD, SVCD, DivX, MPEG, AVI, MWV, WMA, ASF etc. Now I will introduce how to convert DVD to these formats. |
| When you open the "ImTOO DVD Ripper ", you can find a dropdown list box ( picture-1) for setting the video formats in output section fields below the interface. Then click the dropdown list box, you can see three column choice. |

Select the first choice "Video CD ( MPEG-1)", you can convert yours DVDs to VCD format. This is the default choice. |

Select the second choice "Super Video CD ( MPEG-2 ) ", you can convert yours DVDs to SVCD format. |

Select the third choice " AVI ( DivX, YUV,...) ", you can convert yours DVDs to AVI or DivX format which will depend on which codecs you have installed in your computer. If you want to convert DVD to AVI format, firstly you should select the third choice, then you must select a codec in "Settings->Output Settings->AVI Specific"( picture-2,picture-3 ). In the same way, you can choose "DivX codec " if you want to make a DivX video. |
