1. Enhanced Ribbon toolbar - From Office 2007, Microsoft has changed the Office toolbar style to a brand new one called -Ribbon. With Ribbon toolbar, you can use the Office much more conveniently. In OneNote 2010, Ribbon increased more options than in former OneNote 2007 and the note tab is located vertically at the left side of Interface, it looks a little like Adobe Photoshop CS3 toolbox.
2. Compatiblity of text file - From OneNote 2007, Office introduced a brand new default file format - Open XML formate, which is not compatible with former OneNote text file. In OneNote 2010, it has improved the compatibility. So OneNote 2010 will create and edit digital text file as safely as former OneNote 2007, and the file size is smaller than old version in order to save more space.
3. OneNote 2010 for Web - Comparing with old version Microsoft Office, the most important changement in OneNote 2010 is that there will be a web version for you to creat and edit text file via computer network directly and share them online. The web version is charged freely and everyone who has Windows Live account would use web OneNote 2010 freely.
