Recently, Microsoft published the next generation Office software - Microsoft Office 2010 technical preview version, and only the enterprise invited by Microsoft now can access the new Office. Microsoft officials said the formal Office 2010 will be put to market in May or June next year. Thouhg now Office 2010 is a techincal preview version. It is said there is much improvement in Office 2010. The followings will tell you what is new in Office 2010.

What is new in Office 2010.

1. Improve Ribbon toolbar - From Office 2007, Microsoft has changed the Office toolbar style to a brand new one called -Ribbon. With Ribbon toolbar, you can edit, copy your file and document more easily. Ribbon classify the function button just like web browser tab. So you can find the suitable button to press.



2. Compatiblity of Open XML - Same with last Office 2007, Office also applies Open XML file formate, but its compatibility was improved. So office 2010 will save file more safely and the file size is smaller than old version Office.



3. Web Office - Microsoft has offered user a brand new way to use Office online, everyone who has Windows Live account can use Web Office 2010 freely, editing, coping, publicing Office file on Internet directly. But comparing with PC Ms Office, the Web Office just has some basic functions.
