In Excel 2010, it improved the compatibility. So Excel 2010 will save file as safely as former Excel 2007, and the spreadsheet size is smaller than old version .xls in order to save more space.
3. Excel 2010 for Web - Comparing with old version Microsoft Office, the most important changement in Excel 2010 is that there will be a web version Excel for you to creat, edit and save spreadsheet via your web browser directly and share them online. The web version is charged freely and everyone who has Windows Live account would use Web Excel 2010 freely, but the web version is as same as the Excel 2010 on desktop, some of Excel functions are disable.
