2. Compatiblity of .accdb - From Access 2007, Office introduced a brand new default file format - Open XML formate, which is not compatible with former Access database file. In Access 2010, it has improved the compatibility. So Access 2010 will create and manage database file as safely as former Access 2007, and the database size is smaller than old version in order to save more space.
3. Access 2010 for Web - Comparing with old version Microsoft Office, the most important changement in Access 2010 is that there will be a web version for you to creat and manage database via computer network directly and share them online. The web version is charged freely and everyone who has Windows Live account would use web Access 2010 freely, but the web version is as same as the Access 2010 on desktop, some of Access functions are disable.
