How to use Flash data recovery to recover flash files?

STEP 1 - DOWNLOAD & INSTALL

Download Flash File Recovery from our download page. Run the installation file, 'FFRSetup.exe' and follow the on-screen installation instructions.

STEP 2 - SELECT THE TYPE OF SEARCH AND THE DRIVE TO SEARCH

Click on the desktop icon to run the program. A wizard will present you with two search options:

1. Full scan

2. Fast scan

The most comprehensive results will be obtained by running a "Full scan".

Select the device you wish to search by using your mouse to select the device from a drop-down list. Click next to proceed to the next wizard screen.

STEP 3 - RUNNING THE SEARCH

When the 'Start scan' button is pressed the search is commenced. Note that a "Full scan" may take a long time (up to several hours) as they are a scan of your entire storage media.

It is possible to preview the search results whilst the search is in progress.

STEP 4 - THE RESULTS SCREEN

STEP 5 - SAVING RECOVERED FILES

Flash File Recovery must be registered in order to save files. A registration key can be purchased via our purchase page.

Check files to be saved in the results screen. Then click the 'Start recovery' button. You must currently save files to a separate storage media to the one on which they were recovered.
