What is BuzzDash?
BuzzDash is a site and tool for gauging popular opinion on a wide range of topics - from sports, movies and politics to relationships and philosophy. Built upon individual polling modules called buzzbites, BuzzDash provides a real-time forum where people can solicit, measure and share opinions on nearly any issue.
What are buzzbites?
Buzzbites? are individual polling modules and the building blocks of BuzzDash. Created by both BuzzDash users and editors, buzzbites provide a real-time visual snapshot of public opinion on specific issues. Users can vote on, comment on and share buzzbites with a few simple clicks.

How do I create a buzzbite?
To create your own buzzbite, click the "Create Your Own Buzzbite" option at the top of any BuzzDash page. From there, simply follow the instructions. You have the option to create buzzbites for your personal use (to post on your own web site, blog or personal web page or to email to friends), to submit for possible posting to BuzzDash, or both.

How can I find buzzbites on the topics I'm interested in?
You can either browse or search BuzzDash to find buzzbites on topics that interest you. We encourage browsing with simple one-click navigation among the many topics listed in the directory on the left of each page. You can also browse major topic categories using the tabs across the top of each page. For more targeted searching, simply use the search box at the top of each BuzzDash page. Be sure that the "BuzzDash" search option is highlighted (not the "web" search option) and click "Go".

How do I post a buzzbite to my web site, blog or personal web page?
You can easily post your own buzzbite or any of those found on BuzzDash to your web site, blog or personal web page (such as your MySpace page). To post a personal buzzbite, simply create your buzzbite using the "Create Your Own Buzzbite" option on the BuzzDash site and follow the simple instructions emailed to you on completion. To post any of the buzzbites found on BuzzDash, just click the "share this buzzbite" button within the buzzbite of interest and follow the instructions.

Can I submit a buzzbite for posting to BuzzDash?
Yes, anyone can submit a buzzbite for possible posting to BuzzDash. Simply click the "Create Your Own Buzzbite" option at the top of any BuzzDash page and follow the instructions. As part of the creation process, you will be asked to register with BuzzDash if you haven't already. Then, if your buzzbite is posted to the site, your BuzzDash username will appear on the bottom-left of that buzzbite designating you as the creator.

What is MyBuzz?
MyBuzz provides a single place where you can view and manage all the buzzbites of interest to you. Once you are registered and signed in with BuzzDash, you can add any buzzbite to your MyBuzz page by clicking the "Add to MyBuzz" button in that buzzbite. Buzzbites you create will also be added to MyBuzz. Added buzzbites appear on the bottom of your MyBuzz page in the order they were added. You can rearrange them by clicking the icon next to any buzzbite and following the instructions at the top of the next page.

How can I view all of the buzzbites I've created?
There are two ways to view all of the buzzbites you've created. First, you can simply type your BuzzDash username in the search box at the top of any BuzzDash page. Be sure the "BuzzDash" search option is selected (not the "web" search option) and click "Go". You should then see all of your public buzzbites (those that have been posted to BuzzDash) in the search results. To see both your public and personal buzzbites, click on the "MyBuzz" tab and select the "Buzzbites created by me" option.

Why isn't every user-submitted buzzbite posted to the site?
BuzzDash editors select from the many user-submitted buzzbites to provide the best user experience possible. In selecting buzzbites for the site, we look for those most likely to reflect the interests and breadth of opinions of users in the given topic areas. We also check for duplicate questions and inappropriate content.

Do I need to register with BuzzDash to use the site?
No. Anyone can vote and see voter comments on any buzzbite without registering with BuzzDash, allowing new users to jump right in and make their voices heard. To avoid duplicate voting, though, no more than one vote per buzzbite is allowed from all unregistered users on any computer. Certain other activities do require registration, including posting comments and creating buzzbites. Go to BuzzDash.
