Free of charge:

After upgrading to the new product, your license will remain valid until the expiry date of your original product license.

In order to upgrade, you will need to complete the following steps:

1. Download the program you wish to upgrade to from http://www.kaspersky.com/productupdates. Select the product version in your language by clicking on the corresponding link. Choose the nearest server to you, right click on the link and save the file (somewhere easy to find, such as the desktop).
2. Uninstall your current program via the "Add or Remove Programs" menu in the Control Panel.
3. Double click on the saved file and follow the instructions in the Installation Wizard. Once you have completed the installation process, the new version will be installed on your PC.

License Renewal & Upgrade Process

1. All customers should receive an email about two weeks before the license expiration date. There will be a special renewal link in the email and instructions regarding how to renew your license. If you have not received an email please follow step 2.

2. Home product users and those who use Kaspersky Anti-Virus for Windows Workstations can also renew their license through the program by following these steps:

You can find your key file by running Start>Search>Files or Folders and typing "*.key" as the file name.
