How to Uninstall PC-cillin Internet Security 2007 using the PCCTool.exe?

1. Close the PC-cillin Internet Security main console if it is open.

2. Click Start > Programs or All Programs > Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security 2007 > Uninstall PC-cillin Internet Security. This opens the InstallShield Wizard shown below:



3. Click Next >.

4. Click Remove and wait for the uninstallation to finish.

Note: If you set a password in PC-cillin Internet Security, a prompt will appear asking you for your password. Type your password then click OK to proceed with the uninstallation.

If your quarantine folder contains files, the following window appears. Click OK to delete the files and proceed with the uninstallation.

5.Make sure there is a checkmark on the checkbox labeled Automatically restart your computer now then click Finish. Your computer will now restart.

Uninstalling PC-cillin Internet Security 2007 using the Add/Remove Programs

1.Close the PC-cillin Internet Security main console if it is open.


2.Click Start > Settings > Control Panel.


3.Double-click Add/Remove Programs. This opens a list of programs installed on your computer.


4.Select Trend Micro PC-cillin Internet Security 2007 then click Remove.


5.Do Steps 3 to 5 in the procedure above.

Uninstalling PC-cillin Internet Security 2007 using the PCCTool.exe

1.Close the PC-cillin Internet Security main console if it is open.


2.Go to the C:¥Program Files¥Trend Micro¥Internet Security 2007 folder.


3.Double-click the PCCTool.exe file. This opens the support tool window.


4.Click the [E] Uninstall tab. This displays the following window:

 



5.Under Install and Uninstall, click 4. Uninstall. The following window appears.



6.Click Uninstall and wait for the following window to appear:



7.Click Yes. Your computer will now restart.
