1. Click the Start button, and then click Control Panel.
2. Do one of the following depending on your operating system:
* In Windows Vista, click Uninstall a Program.
* In Windows XP, double-click Add or Remove Programs.
3. In the list of currently installed programs, click Norton AntiVirus and then click Remove or Uninstall.
4. Click Remove All to confirm that you want to uninstall the product.
5. In the Subscription Period Warning, click Next.
6. Click Next.
7. Click Restart Windows Now (recommended).
Your Norton program is not fully uninstalled until you restart your computer.
8. Click Finish.
